Thanks for everyone who came to the bash tonight. We had a great time - Coach Rhoads was awesome and I think everyone who got to hang with one of the coaches got a great experience.

As always, Chris did a great job and seeing all the former players there was a treat. All I can say is our program is in great hands and it was fun seeing us raise a ton of money for the Gridiron Club and in that matter the football team.

Hope everyone that couldn't make it will join us next year as it was a great time for all!!

I heard it was spectacular, and I heard it all the way up here in North Dakota...!

Great Job Cyclone Fanatic, CW and crew.....

I second Brian's post. Thanks to everybody for everything last night. That was one of the coolest night's of my life. It was great to see the Keg Stand get so much business too. They are a great supporter of our website and Ryan is working like heck to give Iowa State fans a place to hang. I'll be writing/posting a blog on last night, some pictures and more later on this morning. Thanks again!

Thanks CW and the owners of Cf and the Keg Stand. Awesome time... Free shirt, hat, coozie. All the coaches. Great atmosphere. Great job. CPR is so approachable and a great guy.

We now need to do one for basketball. Love to get another pic with Fred 15 years after the first.

Glad that you had a great time! I actually am already thinking about your basketball idea. Working on it....

2nd the awesoe part... so cool that every coach showed up... Rhoads was fantastic... great job CF team..

I will echo what my buddy said in a different thread, and that's that the coaches we spoke to were great. Very candid and honest answers to questions, not the usual coach-speak. Great guys and I know we all appreciate them making the trip down.

Thanks for a great night. You, Chris and Jason did a great job and the coaches looked like they were having a blast too. Those Cyclone Fanatic t-shirts are sweeeet.

Really glad it went great my husband and I Really wanted to be there ! Sick kids again...I wanted to celebrate my birthday with all cyclones ...Maybe next year....

CW, I think that you made a good point on the radio today. Most head coaches would never do something like this. A vast majority of BCS schools' fans would be lucky to get one assistant for a party that isn't associated with the university or a particular donor group (like the Gridiron Club or NCC). BUT, CPR realizes that ISU flat out needs more diehard fans and he's taking whatever approach he can to build the fanbase. We can hope that if they build a great relationship with fans like the ones at the outing, those people will attend games no matter the weather or odds. I'll say that I've never been more disappointed with our attendance overall than this past year. There were multiple games where the stadium had tons of empty seats. A grassroots effort to build some loyalty can't hurt matters. CPR gets it and his staff goes about things smarter than most staffs I've seen.
