CF Pickup Basketball

Breaking: CMH is in a nursing home and his roommate is as well. His roommate was Mr. Iowa Basketball in 1928
I got cut freshman year. And if Harrison and Doug didn't even play for Ames, we still would've won state. My class was absolutely phenomenal at basketball. We had another guy on the team for two years that quit for football that I truly believe was better than Doug.
I think we can figure teams out without skins. You guys don't know what it does to me when Fitzy has his shirt off.

I was planning on wear blue and black shorts so that's fine altough I wanted to wear my JT #11 jersey
I graduated in '08... I still think the '09 team was better than the '10 team. And the '10 team struggled against SEP in the State Championship... To claim they didn't need Harry or Dougie is silly.
To be honest, I think the '08 team was better than the '10 team. But I talked to just about all the players after the game and they were extremely disappointed with how they played. Southeast Polk didn't hurt Ames much, Ames hurt Ames in the ship. Just look at the first time the two teams met. Ames gave up less than 10 in the first half I believe.
Also, you graduated in '08?

I watched them at state since the team that knocked my team out played right before it. Without Harrison, Ames doesn't win the title. I believe Linn-Marr had the Bohannan brothers and Paige...they were pretty good. SEP had that guy that was a walk-on at ISU that was a good shooter.
plus you don't want to see me with my shirt off. You never get the nightmares to stop.:smile:
The game against SEP in 2010 only Harrison and Doug scored. I think the rest of the team had under 10 points combined. In fact, I think only 2 other players scored.
