So, will he start Saturday? I'd like to see him and Jessan get the nod.

dont know. morgan would have, but gmac isnt morgan and thank god for that

I think they should get the nod for the start.

Both have contributed good minutes this year and it would be a nice gesture in front of the home crowd.

IMO it is not so important that our 5 best start the game anyways. Give the seniors the nod and bring in the normal starting 5 after the first break or so.

I really hope Ceaser and Gray start, because they have both stuck through the tough times and really given us support when we needed it. I also don't think it's much of a crutch, as they are both very sound defensively, and do pose some threat on the offensive side of the ball.

I'm glad I'll be at the game and not watching it so I won't need to hear yet another lame Ceasar joke followed by awkward silence.

As far as the token start for seniors...I see both sides and support both of 'em.

those are lame ...

if he hits a few more three's (started out strong, none recently) we could nickname him "The Salad Shooter" :rofl8yi: awesome - I give it a 10!

Julius Ceasar should start!

I was thinking about making a poster that said "Hail Ceaser!" to see what kind of reaction it would get. I really love the guy and wish we had him around next season. If he doesn't get the starting nod Saturday, I'll understand why, but I'll still be disappointed.

"I'll be honest, I don't think anyone knows what it is anymore. Scholars maintain that the translation was lost hundreds of years ago"
Did you get the German translation of that?

Who was the walk-on either last eyar or the year before that started his last game in Hilton and they kept him in for about 10 minutes? That was pretty cool. He played lights out D and made a couple shots while he was in.

I remember that, but can't think of his name. Did so well he ended up playing in our NCAA tourney games too against Minnesota and UNC.

They will start. Texas tech is not a big horse team that will run away from us.
I would not bet on it, Visiting with "Mac" this week, he says he doesn't believe in that type of thing...?

The discussion came up because "Coach Jake" at UNI forgot to even play Ty Griffin a senior at thier last home game.

I remember a couple years ago at KU Roy Williams tried to Start 6 Seniors..obivously pre arranged with the officials...they came over after announcements and said you can only play 5 coach....

Anyway it accomplished what he wanted to do was get the Seniors reconized....I thought that was a nice touch.

I do not think "Mac" will do it...?
