3 time Iowa State champ, projected 125/133. Very solid pickup!
I don't know if he's competed at Fargo since, but he was a Cadet runner-up in 2018 at 94 pounds. Quick Google search shows that the Predicament had him as registered for this year, but Flo does not show him having competed.

I'm from there, and he's a good get. I know a few guys around the wrestling program that speak highly of his work ethic.
There is a lot of tradition there. I recall Crestwood of Cresco scoring points at state in the 1970s.
Longtime ISU head coach Harold Nichols was from Cresco. He went on to wrestle at Michigan. Former UI head coach Gary Kurdlemeier was from Cresco and wrestled at UI. When Gable left ISU -- where Nichols was his coach, for UI, he was an assistant for Kurdlemeier, and later replaced him as the head coach.
Before them, future Nobel Peace Prize winner and leader of the green revolution, Norman Borlaug, was from Cresco, and went on to wrestle at the University of Minnesota.
