Capital City League

One reason people dont go .... you might go to watch a certain ISU player and they might not show up. Or they will show up with 10 minutes left in the game.

This is true. I suggest planning on going just a few nights and staying the whole time. Don't plan on going to a certain game to see a certain player because there is a chance that the player won't be there. At least if you go for the whole night you are pretty likely to see some players you are interested in seeing. Also it seems like everyone shows up for the first few games. I'm going to guess that most everyone will be around on Wednesday night.

Yep. In addition, the ISU players are spread around on the teams so watching several games will give you chance to see different players.
 
we have like 137 new players this year, showing up for ONE guy doesn't count as an excuse this eyar...
 
some people like more organized basketball, this would not be for them, I know what I am getting myself into so I can enjoy it...
 
Do they play every Wednesday, Friday, & Sunday? What time do they start - end usually, and do all the teams play on each night, or divided upon the 3 nights/week?

I haven't been able to make it to any before, but looking forward to being at as many as I can this year now that I live closer.
 
Me too. I can't wait. Havent heard if Sledge or Gibson have got to campus yet so I wouldn't be surprised if they are a no show.
 
Can I assume the games are at the same wdm school they have been for the last few years?

Valley Southwoods HS
Game 1- 5:30 Allen, Gibson (is he on campus yet?) Palo VS Scotty and Railey
Game 2- 6:45 Booker, Clyburn, Law VS White and McGee
Game 3- 8:00 Lucious, Babb VS Ejim, McBeth and Sledge-Is he on campus yet?
 
Sledge isn't supposeed to be around until July 1 so don't expect him until the second half of the cap city season.
 
His Facebook stated two days ago that in two days he is off to College. Any chance he can get from New York to Ames and down to Des Moines in that amount of time? Being young I have no idea how long it takes. I was hoping he will be there tonight since I'm going down there tonight.
