Can Ejim not dunk?

i cant stop giggling at this thread :twitcy: its great to see how far Melvin has come and what he can do in this offense with talent around him

Every time I see I have a post in one of these threads bumped from the abyss, I get cold sweats.

This is why you keep the negative posts to yourself, nobody ever bumps positive posts that turn out right, unless it's the person patting themself on the back.

He had some great dunks early in the year, but he's clearly in a funk and has lost some confidence. He is going to be one hell of a player for us down the road.

He can obviously dunk it, but come one; he's a freshy. He's newer to the college level of basketball. Give him time to come out of his shell. He's making freshman mistakes which is expected, but later on in his college career he will come out and tear s*** up.

These guys were pretty smart!

Honestly, where did these hops come from? I remember thinking the exact same things about Ejim early in his career. As much as even last year he didn't seem like he had much for hops.

I think Hogue taught him how to jump...

Kudos to our strength and conditioning program cause you can see a big difference in the time he has been here.

The other thing I remember complaining about in his younger years was his inability to catch the ball. I remember him playing with Royce and every pass seemed to bounce off his hands. Now he finishes the ball with such a soft touch. Amazing to see his development over the 4 years. He is this year's Tyrus for me, goes under the title "guys that I just love to watch play basketball".

I was thinking about some of our old heroes the other day and checked to see where they were now in Europe (Ejim, Kane, McGee, Allen, Babb, Lucious, Clyburn) via google/twitter, et, since Niang and Nader aren't playing much or are in D-league...This clip confirmed Ejim's dunking ability continues to improve!

Still working the Canadian men's basketball team too - just missed the olympics:

I don't blame the OP for making this post because at times, Ejim does seem awfully soft around the basket. I think that again, it all comes down to him playing out of position. It was a big deal in the non-con. Now, he is going up against guys who are bigger and stronger than him for the first time in his life. I'm not surprise that he's a bit hesitant down low. He'll be fine. Ejim is a smart kid who is physically gifted. I'm not worried about him at all.

You do ok at your job.

Well I didn't know washed out English football commentators did basketball games. I'd rather listen to Chris Berman do the home run derby than listen to this guy.

I assume that's what it would sound like if Bill Walton and Mrs. Doubtfire had a kid.
