Campbell owns Klieman

I got a kick out of their pregame hype video. They made a point to show highlights against ISU, but the two prominent highlights were 1) The 2015 fumblepocalypse that got Rhoads fired and 2) The 2017 walkoff after the BS picked up flags.

When they have to dig that far back to find exciting highlights against ISU, things are going well.

The amount of highlights they showed from 20-30 years ago was really puzzling to me also. They’ve had some good if not great teams in the last 10 years but they’re living in the 90s like Nebraska fans? Just really weird.

Awww man we would have loved the deep highlight videos if we were to do that. I almost could tell the year by what we wore on those reels.

It was for their fans and it landed by being so broad.

Yep, and I for one really hoped we could get him. The kid has real talent, but clearly there's some off the field questions about him and his family.

We sat behind the K-State bench last Nov. His body language was awful. Mainly hung by himself with little teammate engagement. The antithesis of the type of player CMC is looking for.

I find it funny how much they hate us when every interview Campbell calls them “elite” or “great”.
The vocal online contingent of Kansas State fans is maybe the most obnoxious and delusional fanbase I've encountered. Their perception of their program's historical standing on the national level is wild.

Funny they don't go back further than that! True Story: My first ISU-K-State game was in 1989 - when the Wildcats were still considered an easy win most years for the Cyclones. My favorite play was after one Cyclone TD, K-State jumped off-side on the PAT, so Walden took the penalty, went for two and made it. Led to a funky 36-11 Final Score, which I loved. Walden's best team (6-5, 4-3) - while the Purple Kitties finished (1-10, 0-7) in the Big 8 days. Good times!

Bill Snyder was a Hayden fry Jr. He thought ISU was beneath him/team. So Kstate is pretty similar to the Hawkeyes.
I think it’s rather that when you see your geographic contemporaries, you need to own and beat them consistently *as if* they are beneath you. It helps flip recruiting and fan sentiment.

Hope ISU can stack a couple more against uofi, KSU, and Kansas for this reason

Fun story and that is a wild final score.

According to Scorigami, only 5 occurrences. Only one since ISU-KSU '89.

There's no excuse for Haydenism. To practice it, one must be a classless *******. It goes beyond Machiavellian considerations.

It’s really their young fans too. Older fans are great. The younger fans act like they are Nick Saban Alabama. It’s bizarre really.

I’m speaking of Snyder. I don’t think he openly or privately disrespected/held disdain for ISU.
You didn’t listen to him at the end apparently. I believe in some of his press conferences before retiring both times, he mentioned that losing to ISU basically meant he was doing a good job anymore.
