Caleb Grill

The feet positioning issue is a legit issue. Otherwise the tape is exactly what you want to see at the Power 5 level.
Why? Who cares what his feet look like. Like you said, his shot is quick. Good release. Good athlete. Quick off the floor. He defends. Has some nice passes. I couldn't give two ***** about how his feet are positioned.

I know another guy that shot jumpers with his feet close together. He's currently the best backup point guard in the NBA.

And we have a shooting guard that shoots a set shot. It can work and be successful but it’s not optimal. Overall his tape looks really good especially considering this is Spring and we have two openings.

Did you watch his Senior or his Junior video? I haven't seen his Junior video, but his Senior year is pretty impressive.

I had seen his junior year one. Just watched some of this one. I'm sure he could be a good player. Curious to see how good of a ball handler he is. Tends to look down a fast breaks. Looks like a Matt Thomas type player to me with more athleticism. I'd definitely take that.

Would we take him and Nadolny?
How many more spots do we have open?
Imo if Wigginton leaves we’d be fortunate to get both plus a grad transfer small-ball g/f. Maybe a little shaky next year in that hypothetical, but it’ll be tough to land two high level grad transfers.

His jump shot and feet are just like Naz..feet together.. it isn’t a big deal. Far better than kicking feet out 4 feet apart. His release is quick and smooth.

I have no clue what some on here are seeing in not liking his video..Kid has serious skills and is very athletic..

Prohm knows guards. Sometimes recruiting services miss. But I can see this kid being a big time guard in couple years. I’d take him in a heartbeat.

Kstate, Wisconsin, others are after him..

Does every thread about basketball need to turn into a **** storm of negativity? We get it. Some people like Prohm and some people don't. Literally thousands of posts about this very topic. In every basketball thread. Since February.

I miss the good old days of CF where we talked about coupons, planes, treadmills, Chizik leaving for Auburn, Harrison Barnes, and the always thought-provoking "good news" thread. It was a happier place then.

Self awareness not a real strength for you, is it?

When 50% percent of the board has you on Ignore I don’t think I would be preaching about self awareness. IMO of course.

But let’s ignore the troll that tries to hijack every thread and get back to Caleb Grill. I think he could be a helluva 4 year player and sounds like he loves Iowa State.

So...why isn’t TJ trying to take him to Vegas? They have open spots.
