People realize that Montgomery doesn't play the same WR position as QB right?

CPR said in the pres conference that Lazard and Montgomery would be the two to step in for QB.

More so the people who are calling for Sam's head after the loss when he was one of they very few bright spots.

That ball was like 3 feet behind him. It was either try and catch it with 1 hand or let it sail into the sideline. Had he not attempted to catch it we'd be calling him lazy.

Agreed. Can't blame a true freshman WR for trying to catch a ball that is thrown to him. I don't put that INT on Lazard or Sam, even though it was a bad pass. But even if he DID catch it, it was only going to be about a 3-4 yard gain. Just an unfortunate play that seems to happen to us more than any other team in the country. The Cyclone curse!

I don't know if I would call Sam a bright spot. He wasn't horrible, but he wasn't good either. Take away the 4 sacks and he actually had something like 78 rushing yards on 11 attempts. Passing was another story.

He kept trying to throw over the middle, but it was clogged. Frankly, if we are going to lose, we might as well throw some deep balls. Just as good as a punt. I mean, make some plays over 20 yards instead of one the whole game.

The INT is not on Lazard. The ball was thrown behind him. It was a bad pass.
