Buffalo Bills Damar Hamlin

It would be a team working. Most likely EMT’s would be handling the actual compressions/bagging. They have an airway specialist to intubate. The primaries would be involved communicating care and doing a work up. The neurologist would also be checking for deficiencies as well. With that crew you can get a pretty thorough work up so the hospital knows exactly what’s coming in.

Edit* someone would also be asking the players nearby exactly what they saw happen to get a better idea.
Chiropractor was reviewing game film then

I don’t even like the big hits anymore. I used to think seeing a guy get crushed over the middle was an ooooh ahhh moment but not anymore. I’m glad the old crack back blocks aren’t legal anymore. Was it fun in high school to get someone, absolutely. But having sons play has changed me.

Agree with having to call it out but the internet is not real life. I would wager that a VERY low % of the US population was thinking vaccine. Vocal minorities are the loudest voices on social media as they drive engagement and user interactions on the platforms. That is likely why he called it out in the video.

What you said in the bold is very true. I'm out of the loop on this, but what do vaccines have to do with what happened last night? Not trying to start anything, I just don't know what the controversy was.

Also neck immobilization, any chance of a neck injury and you are locking that neck down. Just falling to the the ground requires EMTs to brace the neck.

I did see that as one of the first things done.

Apparently there are people on social saying the vaccine caused Hamlin's collapse.

You’re probably right but I’m this situation I actually think the athletic trainers would get their first for that and then the EMT’s take over

If the postponed game is a tie, a Buffalo loss, or a no contest, KC benefits greatly as a win against the Raiders gives them the #1 seed regardless of how Buffalo does this weekend. KC would have a better winning percentage based on any of those scenarios. Same scenarios also give Cincy the division regardless of the week 18 game.
right. If it is a tie and assuming that KC, Buff and Cinci all win then the seeds are KC -1 Buff - 2 and Cinci -3... but I bet the NFL would want to schedule the Buff/Cinci game after week 18 if they all win. They have an option to move all the playoffs back a week by removing the Superbowl bye week... If any of the teams lose this Sunday the game will be canceled.
Which I guess the league would want to get ready for some sketchy calls going against each team Sunday.
I'm confused. Can someone check my math? I have KC winning % at 82.4% (14 of 17 games won), and Buffalo at 87.5% (14 of 16 games won), if both teams win out, and yesterday's game is cancelled. Buffalo is still the #1 seed?

Where did I go wrong?

Maybe take the game reschedule talk to the NFL season thread

The Bills have lost 3 games, currently 12 of 15. A win Sunday would give them 13 of 16.

Bills have three losses

there has got to be something in the nfl bylaws that say what happens if a team/teams play one less game when it comes to playoffs and seeding
