At the same time to say our program is in trouble if he cracks the line-up is also unfair to him. I'm not saying you said that but some people have. The kid has talent but to place any amount of expectations on him, a non-scholarship walkon, is unfair both to the staff and to him.

Will Conroy, Washington Huskies all-time assist leader, led UW to a couple NCAA tournaments and the Sweet 16, oh yeah he was a walk-on.
Trajan Langdon former Duke star and oh yeah he was a walk-on.
Anthony Epps scored almost 900 points for Kentucky and oh yeah he was a walk-on.
Yes but according to some Hornacek doesn't count because he was a special circumstance and that was a long time ago and they know that Bubu cannot possibly develop into a top player so if he plays we will suck. Petey and Haluska both played a lot and we sucked, so that must be true of every walk-on. We must all give up hope in the underdog especially ones that bust their *** for ISU for the pure love of the game. I think you get my point. If my memory serves me correctly, Jeff Hornacek at least started here as a walk-on. But I am not sure about this.

I have. I want/expect Greg and his staff to recruit top 200 players every year. If he does that and retains them, then Bubu doesn't crack the starting line up. Not a knock on the kid at all. It is simply the reality of the situation
