Not yet. Maybe someday. If I was a Browns fan and they hired Campbell this season, unless ISU dominates & runs the table from here on out, I'd be mystified and pi$$ed off. We're not dominating anybody until we clean up special teams.

At this point at least I don't think he is that type of coach. I think he is enjoys and excels at recruiting, mentoring and developing young players. Right now he is an excellent college coach because of how he does these things, someday he may develop more of an NFL management profile and interest, but at this point I don't see it. Not on either side of the coin.

Never say never I guess, but I'm not worried. Even if Campbell was interested (personally, I don't think he is) it's the same problem as it was when people were freaking out about tOSU a couple months ago - beyond Ames and central Iowa, he's just a coach with a .500 record from a place not known for being all that good at football. Good luck selling that when it comes time for Browns season ticket holders to renew for 2019.

OP is an idiot for creating this thread and for putting a poll on it. Just shows that the OP is unprofessional fan.

Question is a coordinator/AC/positions coach in the NFL more prestigious than a HC at a D1 school? Would Matt Campbell join as a an coordinator or assistant to Lincoln Riley?

Yes a NFL head coaching job is more prestigious, however, some coaches like to control all aspects of the team. In college, you control the recruiting (AKA, Player personnel) In the NFL, the GM and the scouting department give you all the players. Coach can give input but most don't make the decisions (Other than Pete Carroll, Jon Gruden)

Nick Saban loves to control all aspects of the program and college is the only way to do that.
