I mean, watching two spoiled rich kids, turned adults, piss and moan at one another is like watching Spaulding Smails talk about how he's gonna get a hot dog...it's funny once but then it's kind of annoying after that.
Just my opinion but Brooks is much easier to root for. Whether he's 7 under or 7 over Bryson is a miserable SOB on the golf course. I doubt there are many players on the tour that like playing with him. Either way, if these guys don't take some weight off and pull back on their swings some neither will have a left knee in 10 years.
I'm taking an optimists approach. Xi and Putin see how these two middle school girls act, and the immense amount of "Oh no he di'n't!" coverage this is getting and just conclude that the US is such a pathetic society it's not worth trying to undercut and destroy anymore and they leave us alone.
It's a battle of who the bigger dbag is....might not be terrible for golf though. Could get more eyeballs watching.
You've captured my thoughts exactly. I'm kind of over Brooks' ****. He just seems so aggrieved all of the times. In listening to interviews and understanding his background, it's almost like he's embarrassed to be a pro golfer as opposed to a basketball player or something. It's like he hates golf but was always too good at it to just give it up.
With Bryson, I can kind of appreciate him taking a new approach to golf. But at the same time he's just a bit too odd for me to root for.
I don't really know why but I kind of root for Bryson. If nothing else I think I relate to him more as I also try to murder the ball off the tee. Unfortunately my drives end up 3 fairways over or 10 yards in front of me after I completely whiff.
I never liked Brooks and what sealed it for me was when he was talking **** about Dustin Johnson having only won one major. Rory had a pretty hilarious line afterwards about how Dustin has 3x more victories than Brooks.

Brooks cost me some cheddar last weekend by his poor putting. As for Bryson, he reminds me of some muscle bound disney character who wants to hit the ball to the moon. But the PGA is going to hype anything they can since Tiger went off roading.
Im a Bryson fan but what I really want to see is a pay for view of the Ps going at it on the golf course. Paulina Gretzky vs Paige Spiranac would be epic.
I think Bryson's "mad scientist" moniker was pumped up by the media and that plus the slow play made him an enemy for a lot of fans. Brooksy was a media darling but now is being seen as he really is...a pompous little *****.
