Brody Teske

With Teasdale & Roman Bravo Young in the same class and projected at 125-133 and Nick Lee at 141 along with Suriano just finishing his true freshman year, have to think if Teske goes there, it is for little or no money.

Mejia still might not make it to Iowa. And he's walking on if he does. Teske is better than him, anyway.
But he isn't better than Lee at this point which is all that matters because Teske and Lee will be career 125 pounders. I don't see many scenarios where Teske ends up at IA.

Not so sure about the weight thing. Also, I don't know where Teske will end up. But, don't count Iowa out. They have been his favorite program (though he is open to others), are killing it in the light weights these days, and I believe Iowa was given the first in home visit at 12:01 on the first.

On the positive side, now that we have KD and Co we have a damn good shot.

Lol. "Cy" fan. Wherever this young man decides to go to school is a decision he and his family have to make. Hopefully it's at Iowa state, but he has to do what is best for him.

As an aside, throw away lines do not erase the history feature on this site. You are as much of a cyclone fan as I am an Oregon state fan.

What did I say that was inflammatory? Is Iowa not killing it in the lighter weights these days in both collegiate and FS? Did they not have a midnight in-home with Teske?

Also, going back into my posting history will show you that I was accused of not being a Cyclone fan because I thought we had an under-performing program and a bad coaching staff. Those guys got fired. I was right all along.

I have not seen mention of the 12:01 visit to Teske by Iowa. And I am not sure many coaches would even ask for a 12:01 visit, so not sure it is even a big deal.

I have no inside info, but with the Kamali news buf provided above, I have to think Teske is one of, if not the, top priority for the staff (Carr should be up there too, but I think he's looking really hard at Nebby and Cornell). I think from a lineup perspective, Iowa State seems to make a heck of a lot of sense. With Mejia back in the fold for Iowa and Lee there, plus the potential of adding Silva, I'm not sure how much money Iowa would have left for the lower weights.

Wouldn't surprise me if Lee wrestles at 133 early in his career.

Give me Teske, Stotts and Shapiro (Iowa boys) and then Brayton Lee/David Carr and Tony Cassioppi

That's all I'm asking for.. :)
