I'm tempted to say Butler just because he was such a weapon for Purdy his freshman year.

A little too easy but I'd go with Jaquan Bailey or someone else for the defensive line. If we'd ever had a great kicker I would go with that too.
Jeff Shudak. But he let his son become a Hawkeye so not Jeff Shudak then.
If we go WR, is it weird I would rather have Allen Lazard?

For some reason I'm not as concerned with the d-line although it may take some time for things to develop.
But a legit over the top type of receiver would give even more stupid problems for defenses.
Even though we already have a stud RB, Troy Davis would be amazing on this team.
This was going to be my pick. Stud OLB next to Mike Rose? Yes please!
Also wouldn't mind adding Kelechi Osemele at Left Tackle.
He was the kind of hybrid defender that would thrive in our defense. And would probably help with special teams also which is where ISU needs the most improvement.
Fun off season conversation. You can never have too much talent, so any all time great would be good. Thinking of position groups of need, I was thinking another great CB like Leonard Johnson might be a welcome add in pass happy Big 12. A great interior D lineman to add to the rotation would help, and while the O-line is solid as a unit, how about Kelechi with good knees? With Purdy’s propensity to throw deep balls up for grabs at times, having a jump ball specialist like Butler could be a game changer. Yes, Shudak could help shore up a weakness. Finally, I miss watching James Moses break ankles in the flat and on kick returns.
