You serious, Clark?

Walt died from a bullet that came from an M60 he strapped to a garage door opener and mounted to the trunk of a car and then triggered himself to kill a group of skinheads that had murdered the brother-in-law he loved. How could it get any more epic than that?

You missed Walt protecting/shielding Jesse from the bullets with his own body...

that was cool. but I mean the actual Walt falling over dead part... I get it was over the cook site but I was hoping for Marie or Jessie or flynn killing him outright.

Loved this. Walt literally sacrificed himself for Jesse. Walt doesn't get hit if he's on the floor instead of protecting Jesse.

Meth/cooking was Walt's Filena. Just like the song he died with a bullet in his chest and got to be with his love one last time.

But none of those were people geared towards killing. Jesse wanted no more, Flynn just wanted his family to be ok, and Marie is geared towards saving people instead of killing. None of those work as a killer for the self-important Walt.

Now that we know how it turned out, I think this was one of the best clues ever.

Denver led 2-1 in the second period and Rycroft had scored a goal, in keeping with the announcer’s earlier comment. Amazingly, the home team came back to score 6 goals in the third period, making it an all-time classic Badgers win.

Is Vince Gilligan giving us a clue? Is Walter White about to score 6 goals in the 3rd period (so to speak)?

Walt had a huge comeback. Once you get past the fact that he died - which was a given, considering the cancer - he won pretty much everything else.

Yeah that too. If you look back at all the inventions Walt created, my favorite was the crystal grenades he took into Tuco's office in season 1. The trunk gun was just as kickass though.

Perfect. Perfect ending. Perfect show. Pretty much ruins tv from this point forward. This story is as good as any ever told. I was so nervous all day, thinking there was no way they could meet my wild expectations...not only did they but they exceeded them. Perfect.

I can't believe some people are questioning whether the ending was that good? I suppose you can't please everyone but that was potentially the best ending I've ever seen to a series.

I don't think anyone expected Walt to trust all of his money to Gretchen and Elliot. He got closure with them in a very surprising way. I think the way he got closure with Skyler by being honest for the first time and closure with Jessy saving him from the Nazi's and giving him the option to pull the trigger. The head nod at the end was one of respect. Even Walt caressing the tank at the end as he drops dead gave himself closure too. Perfect.

I think there were some expectations of a 75 minute thrill ride filled with explosions, death, and adrenalized mayhem throughout.
But this is a character show, and they had character stuff to do. That's one of the best jobs I've seen of wrapping everything up so nicely. They said that everyone would have the ending they deserve (or something like that), and they pulled that off.
