I realize this...just flipping **** at him. He's been quite a tool lately, being a panther and all.
There is nowhere near as much flex in the seeding as some seem to suggest on here, thus why Lunardi has been very consistent. We are not going to be a 5 or 6 seed even if we lose to TCU and in the first conference game. If we get to the CCG, then we could be a 3, but no way are we in the conversation for a 2 even if we win out. We are on the 3/4 line right now and how we finish will push us to one or the other, nothing more, nothing less.
I would LOVE these matchups. UC Davis and then the winner of Boise St/SMU with Gonzaga as the #2 seed? Yes please.
We are currently #14 in the RPI with 10(!) Top 50 wins and 5 Top 25 wins. 10-5 vs. RPI Top 50. Half of our games against the top 50 teams? We will get rewarded with a higher seed for that IMO.
They must have just changed it because I opened it an hour ago.

I really don't get Lunardi's constant bracketing of Wisconsin to Omaha. He seems dead set on that happening, when I think its 50/50 at best regardless of ISU

It absolutely still is a possibility. CBS and Palm have Baylor in Omaha over ISU.

UNI playing in Jacksonville with Arkansas. That would suck for them with Arkansas being a lot closer than UNI is. I like the idea of us being in Louisville with either SMU or Boise State in the 2nd round. Boise isn't the team we faced last season with Anthony Drmic out for the season. He and Derrek Marks went off against us but overall nobody else did anything for them. It's funny looking at the box score for that game and seeing 2 of our starters from this season(Naz and Morris) go a combined 0-5 from the field with a grand total of 0 points overall.
Completely agree, that whole region would be awesome. Sure Duke is up top but you're going to play someone like that if you get to the Elite 8. I'd trade Omaha in a second for these teams.
Yes... I think the 9 seed is generous. They could easily lose their next 2, which should take them out of the tourney, IMO.
Ah, wasn't sure which side you were on. I agree, they're making their way towards the bubble
