It would be fun to play Army, and I liked playing them at JTS a few years ago, but it would really suck to go play in TCU's stadium, a place we play in on a regular basis, for a bowl game.

Speaking of Army, they had 0 passing yards and still won yesterday.
But there run game hasn’t faced the Great Wall of Joel.

Wow, 2 B1G teams in the playoff, but no Big 12 teams.... ok?

Nevermind that as someone else said yesterday, the B1G is like 1-17 against ranked teams this year. Yeah, they're so good.
That was me and after I thought about it, that means they have a couple good teams at the top who win when they are supposed to (no upset wins against ranked) and everyone else is meh or worse. The Big 12 at 5-7 means MUCH more parity.

You have the top three in the conference (TCU, OU, OSU).
ISU, Texas, Texas Tech and W. Virginia will be battling for the best of the rest of the Big 12 bowls. I don't know if KSU even makes a bowl this year. Due to name and $, Texas probably would be a bowl's first pick, but ISU with fan support might be a good second choice. Taco Tech and couch burners are too far removed from their glory days to carry much cache.

Notre Dame vs. Iowa. Is there a way both teams can lose?

We'll be fortunate if they don't find a way to put 3 B1G teams in the playoff...

Here are the Big 12 bowl tie-ins per this website: http://collegefootballnews.com/2017/01/college-football-bowl-ties-affiliations-conference-2017-2018

Big 12 Bowl Ties
The Sugar Bowl is a College Football Playoff Semifinal – the Big 12 doesn’t have a direct tie-in this season. If the Big 12 doesn’t get a team in the College Football Playoff …

1. Valero Alamo Bowl vs. Pac-12
2. Camping World Bowl vs. ACC
3. AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl vs. SEC
4. AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs. SEC
5. Cactus Bowl vs. Pac-12
6. Heart of Dallas Bowl vs. Big Ten

That would be disappointing, and yet optimistic and exciting at the same time. I think this team has the talent and coaching for better than the Liberty Biwl, but we're only 4-2 and likely underdogs in 4 or 5 of our remaining 6 games.

Liberty Bowl is way higher in prestige now than when we went to it a few years ago. The bowl committee increased the payout and now Big 12 vs. SEC and I want to say it is 4th in Big 12 pecking order.

I'll echo Liberty sentiments. Leaps and bounds better than the Houston and Indy Bowls.
Beale St is amazing.

I enjoyed Memphis and the Liberty Bowl a few years ago and would go again. Selfishly, I really want to go to texas (I've never been).
