Bowl Game Projections

I don't understand. ISU is 2-0 in Phoenix and had a blast both times. We rock Phoenix.

2000 Insight Bowl, beat Pitt 37-29 at Bank One Ballpark: This one was awesome because it was the first (modern era). And Pitt fans were all over the board talking smack and tradition leading up to the game (Dan Marino can EABOD), then hardly any of them showed up for the game. Plus Billups punt return. Yassss.

2009 Insight Bowl, beat Minny 14-13 at ASU Stadium: This one was awesome due to its ending of causing their QB to fumble on our 15 yard line to nix their game-winning drive. Revenge on the gophers for JT. Plus NYE in Tempe was not too shabby.

Would love to go to the Fiesta Bowl.

Yea....that's better

CBS/Jerry Palm still has us going Camping in Orlando. New projected opponent- NC State.

Do not want to play NC State. They aren't a big name but they have a great team.

Intriguing match up though. They are having a very similar year in the ACC that we are having here.

Not gonna lie, I would love Memphis. I'd go for sure

It would be nice to have a Florida bowl game since we haven't ever had one. But Memphis would be pretty fantastic too. It's an easy drive and a cheap trip even if you splurge and stay at the Peabody.

Memphis isn’t the most glamorous bowl destination but logistically speaking, it may be the best for fans. 9 hour drive from central Iowa and a Saturday game means a lot of people could get by with only taking 1 or 2 days off work.

Orlando? Watch your step, Florida is covered in pythons, 100s of thousands. They range as far north as Pensacola, reports National Geographic magazine.
