Just remember billions of planets and solar systems exist. In 1988/89 I don't believe that was anywhere close to mainstream thinking or belief. Think about that now and that seems totally dumb/ignorant we didn't already believe that.

Also, you have to keep in mind the testimony/interviews with the military pilots. They know that what they saw was nothing they have seen before or of any kind of conventional technology and movements the human body cannot withstand with tech we know of. Someone has it and it came from somewhere. Again just hope it is the good guys.

If they are visitors, I think they must be on the side of good, or at the very least neutral observers. If they wanted to take us over, they could do it without breaking a sweat given the technology they must possess to enable interstellar travel.

I think they would be here to keep us from blowing ourselves up. They want our species to continue its progression.

I tend to do the same (Occam's Razor) and I usually follow the scientific facts, no matter where they lead.

This is different IMO. The US Military admits there are UFO's flying around that defy the laws of physics. They have a ton of credible pilots that describe exactly the same type of laws-of-physics-destroying" maneuverability and propulsion that Lazar described in the 80's.

Yep. I just don’t see any reason to believe all of these pilots who independently saw the same things are wrong or lying. These are all credible people.

It’s pretty clear he’s telling the truth, I understand why people would reject the idea. It’s too complex for simple minded people.

I disagree. "simple minded people" tend to believe what they hear or are told to believe rather than thinking for themselves or verifying anything with evidence.

1. What does he gain from lying? He isn’t the type of guy that wants to be famous. He stated that he really didn’t want to do the podcast because of all the attention. He also said how much talking about it has ruined his life. Plus it’s not like he’s making boat loads of cash of this.

I'm sorry, but you either misinterpreted Bob Lazar, or he's outright lying.
He did the Rogan podcast (with the director of the movie) to promote the movie.
He might not be making boat loads of cash from this, but he'd like to.
Pre-order his autobiography (to be released in September) from Amazon for $22.

Edit: apparantly I don't understand how to link to something on CycloneFanatic. Search for "Dreamland: An Autobiography" by Bob Lazar on Amazon.

Have you listened to the podcast? He said he wanted to tell his story one last time. He didn’t really want to do the podcast or the movie. He’s not looking for fame.

Well since he said he doesn't want attention or money it must be true. Doubt it's received too well if he says he loves attention and is trying to make a few bucks. Dude has been on the conspiracy and UFO speaking circuit for 30
Years.
Let's recap Lazar's "proof" of the conspiracy
"My MIT and CalTech records were wiped" Truth - has no records of attending either and when asked to name professors there he named a guy that taught at a JuCo he attended and a teacher from his HS.

"My Los Alamos National Lab records were wiped but I have this phone book" Truth- the phone book shows he worked for an electronics contractor. He wasn't a LANL employee so they wouldn't have a record of his employment

"I talked about the hand scanners that now people can see" Truth - these were publicly known for many years before Lazar coming out. Over 10 years before Lazar came out with this such a scanner was shown in the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind

"I talked about element 115 and now look. There was no way for me to know" Truth- the island of stability around element 114 was discussed in Scientific America as early as 1969 and was brought up again in that publication in 1989, coincidentally the year Lazar started his attention-avoiding series of speaking engagements.

"The Feds were all over me. My neighbors saw them raiding my house" Truth- Feds charged his company for selling controlled materials that can used to make fireworks.

I don't know how anyone can believe we are the only life form. With space so vast, it's so improbable that that's the case that I can't even think about it being possible.
Yep. I'm Douglas Adams probably had it right, and space is so vast that for anything that has ever been produced, there is a natural analog of it somewhere on a planet where the conditions were just right for it to have grown naturally.

I'm certain the dim-witted mattresses of the swamps of Sqornshellous Zeta or the bizarre ratchet screwdriver fruits (a crop with an unusual life-cycle; once picked, the fruit must be kept in a dark, dusty drawer for several years, after which time the outer skin crumbles to dust leaving an unidentifiable metal object with screw-holes and various ridges and flanges.) do exist somewhere.

I’ve watched the documentary and the podcast, I personally thought the podcast was more interesting. The documentary had these weird narration parts that imo ruined it.

I think Bob Lazar is telling the truth:

1. What does he gain from lying? He isn’t the type of guy that wants to be famous. He stated that he really didn’t want to do the podcast because of all the attention. He also said how much talking about it has ruined his life. Plus it’s not like he’s making boat loads of cash of this.

2. Thing he described about the base has ended up becoming true. For emaple he said that the base used a hand scanner that measured the length of the bones in your hand to indentify workers.

3. He knew the test flight times. Not only that, he brought his friends out to view it 3 different times and they recorded it. How else would he have known about sercert government tests? It’s pretty clear he’s telling the truth, I understand why people would reject the idea. It’s too complex for simple minded people.

Number 1 is ******** and is a consistently stupid argument when it comes to people like Bob. THEY SAY they don’t want attention, and people just eat it up.

“He isn’t the type.” — you really don’t know that.

Where are you getting those quotes from? Yahoo answers? A link would be nice.

Anyways, the thing that convinces me the most that he is being truthful is that he knew that test flight times. He also brought his friends to view the test, and they even got a video of it.

Yes, he said he had flight times, which is totally inconsistent with his other claims. He says over and over how they kept them in bubbles and gave them as little information as possible. And yet, somehow, they gave him a schedule of test flights, which would be a HUGE security risk. Because, you know, he might do EXACTLY what he claims to have done and shown others the test flights. You think the ones who don't believe him are simple minded. Lol!

Am I the only one that didn't find him that credible in the Rogan Show either?

Having said that, it's still strange some of the things this guy knew. I do think there are some strange things going on with the government in and near Area 51, but not positive if this Lazar guy is believable or not?

Maybe we were their ant farm or worm farm. They are just tremendously nice overlords.

He was at times. Said he had a migraine going on too, which if true I can see why, but why not just cancel if that is the case. I liked Rogan's commentary during the interview.

And yet he did take people on 3 occasions and they did see things flying as he stated. It was the 3rd time where they were "caught". So somehow he knew the schedule, if not only by second hand info. And since he was tasked with the propulsion system, maybe he had to see it actually work once.

I believe any proceeds are going to other causes. I would have liked for them to state what he did for employment after 1989.

It is this or we already have a space force and most of the rest of the military has no knowledge of it. Hope it is good guy tech at least if man made a huge breakthrough in tech.

I kind of agree with you here. The first time he mentioned his migraine was very conveniently timed. But, I tried to listen to it with a position of no thoughts one way or the other and go from what I hear. So to that point, having had migranes in the past and knowing you can essentially shut down because of the pain, I gave him the benefit of the doubt on this one (just this time). I thought he sounded more convincing in the doc, but theres obvious reasons to why that is.

My biggest thing, and I've said this before, is I believe what he says he saw and worked with. My hold up is the unknowns that he "saw once or read about". I don't believe he ever went in the ship, I do believe he watched a test run. I don't believe they know the origin of the space crafts or if they have more than one, I do believe that he worked on reverse engineering a form of technology they had no knowledge or experience with. I don't believe he saw a grey alien talking to engineers (whether a doll or real), I do believe he had access to the test flight calendar. And so on and so on.

There are always going to be things we can point at to poke holes in his story, and there will always be things we can point at and say "yeah, I can't really explain how he knew that or how he was right". That is why this **** is so fascinating to me lol
