Was REALLY windy that day, you can see mom's "ears" bending in the wind. I was lucky to see the owlet awake and attentive. Was right next to rich folks suburb development road so they were used to people. Owlets, when awake, are very curious about the world and will keep an eye on you. The parents, not so much as you can see mom in my photo with her eyes closed.
