Biggest Pet Peeves

- "Lose" vs "Loose"
- Businesses that use a decimal point along with the ¢ sign. (.75¢) So I should be able to give you three pennies and get four of what you're selling. Still haven't gathered up the stones to attempt this.
- Drivers who come up and nearly kiss your bumper before changing lanes when the left lane was completely unobstructed. Same with cutting you off after they pass you for no reason. You couldn't have continued on for two or three more car lengths before getting back over?
- Drivers who drive the wrong way in parking lots with angled parking
- People who walk three or four across in the parking lot, completely oblivious to you behind them
- People who have their Facebook linked up with Twitter. I follow you on both, and would prefer some original content on the two.

I'm with everyone who hate people that place their registration stickers all over their plate.

This. especially when the road is wet and they blind you from the spray their tires are throwing up

People who clip their fingernails at work. This is becoming a problem in my office as there are now 4 or 5 people who find it completely acceptable to clip their fingernails at their desk. It's ******* disgusting. I guess since these people find it acceptable to groom themselves at work I'll have to pick a day and show up at work without showering, shaving, having brushed my teeth, or bothering to put on clean clothes. I'll bring all of the essentials (wash cloth, soap, shaving supplies, toothbrush, hangers, laundry soap, etc...) and spend the better part of the morning handwashing some clothes which I will hang up to dry, brushing my teeth, shaving, and cleaning myself up with a wash cloth and soap right at my desk.

*As I was typing this someone just starting clipping their ******* fingernails! :realmad:

Same here. I thought I was alone on this one. Dude has been called out numerous times by people on our team, yet continues to do it. Gave some lame excuse that he takes fish oil and that's why his nails grow so fast. Great, clip them at HOME like every other normal person. I'd be embarrassed as hell to be called out like that at my place of work, yet this guy has no issue with it.

People who don't use turn signals. People who throw their cigarette butts out the window when driving. That is littering too!! Wish that would be enforced more.

People who ask you for an opinion and really don't even care to hear it because they've made up their mind.

Yes!

When I was in grad school I saw one of the library employees clipping their toenails (a toenail?) in the stacks. It was disturbing.

We have a casual dress code in our office which means as the weather gets nice out people will be wearing sandals to work. I'll keep you posted when toenail clipping starts up.

I can just imagine these people laying on their couch at home clipping their nails all over the floor and never picking that stuff up. Based on the frequency of their clipping jobs at work they must have a pile of nail clippings about 3 feet high.

Got another clipping job going on as I type... It is really out of control in my office.

There are a ton of things that tick me off at work, mostly very minor things. One thing that is not minor & puts me in a ****** off mood the rest of the day?

When this 1 co-worker decides she's going to warm up her left over tilapia for lunch. Makes the microwave unusable, the break room uninhabitable, & the whole office smell like ****!

One other thing my coworker does is eat all the ******* ice after drinking a fountain drink. Just chews the **** out of it, this can't be normal behavior right?

Work related: The dumb **** who asks you the same question repeatedly. One of my coworkers has asked me the same question AT LEAST 50 times in the past 6 months and then gets all pissy when I have answer in a very calm tone to keep from exploding. "Well, you don't need to take attitude with me." Uh, yes I do because you're a ******* moron who keeps asking the same damn question. You're lucky I'm not management yet or I'd fire you for incompetence.

I had the same problem at the farm I worked at this year. One of the guys would ask me when I was done working for the day. I worked the same days every week and the same time, yet he could never remember when I was supposed to leave. It was so frustrating.

Since we are going off about work:

Haven't taken time off since Christmas Eve, and no holidays between New Years and Memorial Day -- has to be the most unbearable stretch of the entire work year. What happens? Oh, we get shaken loose on a project with a short fuse, and now my supervisor wants us to move on it the end of this week and into the weekend. Great...

Granted, I have no travel plans, and nothing else special going on for the 3-day weekend, but it would be nice to not have to worry about work **** during that time. As if a few days are going to make or break the project?! I ******* doubt it!!!

I hate it in parking lots when cars pull through parking spots to get to the next aisle. It is dangerous for walkers and other cars. Drive up and down the aisles. Cutting through will only save you 0.02 miles on your odometer and maybe 1.5 seconds. :realmad:

I can not stand "In Memory Of" stickers in the back windows of cars.

I think they are overly tacky.

People who have those little stickers on their car windows with the stick figures representing each member of their family, their age, and gender. Wow, talk about making it easier for child molesters and abductors.

This.

Also when moderators close my favorite threads.

I think your co-workers need to back off on the protein intake.
