And he didn’t really need it, unless he was trying for his own takedown to back move. Where they were on the mat, and Small’s go to shot, he wasn’t going to take that kid to his back. As mentioned above, just dumb.
Wittcraft lost his first match for OSU. Some crazy stuff happening early.
Dang... I actually liked the quick shot out of Small. I was thinking that if he could get a real quick takedown he could go for one more quick catch and release for team bonus points. Talk about backfiring... giving up a cradle in that position is a sickening. Hope he can bounce back and have a repeat performance of CKLV.
Good win by Ian. Let's get our boys on a roll! Schwarm losing is good if Mackall can stay on the front side of the bracket.
This tournament is freaking sick. Never imagined OSU losing a match like that

With Schwarm losing, the bracket is set up for Mackall to the finals. Needs to get by Vega.
Grapple said the pigtails were randomly chosen because they give teams a chance to get bonus points in the team race.
So in that sense, ISU kinda got screwed, correct? We have a lot of bye's it looks like. UNI has hardly any bye's.
