Big 12 vs Big Ten Debate

Not really. Nebraska was playing for Big 12 conference titles nearly every year then joined the B1G and fell off a cliff.
Nebraska's last conference title was 1997. They joined the Big in 2011. They were on their 3rd coach since Osborne and had fallen off that cliff long before they joined the Big

Nebraska??? Are we turning the clock back to the mid 1990s? Wow!

Weird how Utah transitioned to the Big 12 and goes 2-7. Weird how their first game following that 2-7 year is against a Big Ten opponent (in their house) and they win by 50. All of it is strange.
I’m pretty sure Utah going 2-7 had more to do with them being down to their 4th and 5th string qbs very early in the year. I’ll be surprised if they struggle this year.

Dillingham was there the year before when they went 3-9 in the PAC. Lol.

ISU 30
Iowa 13
Yeah after Herm Edwards left that program was gutted. Going to take a year or two to build that up, pal. Did it take your boy Ferentz a year or so to get rolling in Iowa City or no?

Wow little old Iowa State from the Big 12 housing Iowa?

They won 3 straight division titles before leaving and joining the B1G.

So this philosophy applies everywhere but Michigan. Got it.

Yeah you guys are going to smear us.

I mean, it’s Iowa, if you put up 17 it’s an insurmountable lead

Right before those division titles KU put up 72 on them. Division titles mean nothing. Do you hang a banner for that? Did they take that division title and turn it into a conference title. They won 3 National Championships in 4 years in the late 90's. The program fell off after Osborne retired and hasn't been anything close to that since.

So we have Hawk and Spartan fans showing up here to defend the honor of the Big Ten. The Hawk fans are picking Iowa State to win big (as is the Mich St fan) and the Mich St fan has done a fabulous job outlining the recent success of their arch rival Michigan. Lol got it! Like I said earlier, congrats on the accomplishments of Ohio State and Michigan I guess. The Big Ten is strong with them at the helm!

I am good playing in the Big 12/ACC type league I guess and playing meaningful games in late October/November.

Enjoy being the punching bag of Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon. Now that the Big Ten West is a thing of the past it could be be decades until Iowa plays a meaningful game after Halloween.

We get to see the top of the Big 12 vs the middle of the Big 10 this weekend. Iowa State should have an easy time with Iowa at home.

Much like Ohio State would have an easy time vs a middling Big 12 team at home.

You forgot Penn St. We'll be their punching bag too.

I went to MSU for undergrad and Michigan for post grad, only reason I know both programs so well.

I am extremely happy the big ten west doesn’t exist anymore though
