Thoughts about us being undefeated walking into gameday against KU on 1/17?

I'd say we'll be favored in every game up until then, but I can't expect to go undefeated in non-con again. Very difficult to avoid a single slip-up in the early season.

Thoughts about us being undefeated walking into gameday against KU on 1/17?
I'd say unlikely.

I'd say a 60% chance for loss at Iowa.
50% chance at a loss in Morgantown.
60% chance at a loss in Waco.

I would however say 3 losses should be the absolute max we come in with.

Great schedule. It's possible ISU comes into that game undefeated, but if I were setting the line in Vegas, I'd set our total losses at 1.5 coming into that game. Last year's chemistry (and high number of dramatic late wins) was special; I just think it's likely the team will lose at least once, probably twice, before that game.

Obviously hope I'm wrong!

Think of it this way, ISU just went from the Phillips 66 Big 12 network to having every conference game with a minimum of 74 Million homes, and most with at least 100 Million homes!!! We are now officially Big Time.

If the Big 12 is going to host a gameday the only other option would be Texas @ Kansas on 2/28. Kansas hosted a gameday last year. Only thing concerning is the 5pm OR 8pm. ESPN released their game day sites a year ago today and every game had a set time.

The Jayhawks are no stranger to the Game Day atmosphere. KU has hosted the show a record five times (2005, 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2013) and has been the road team on three occasions (2006, 2010 and 2012).

I have us losing to Iowa. No McKay and it is their Super Bowl. I'm not joking either. They want to beat us BAD. That said, I think we are a better team and I'm not conceding.

For those who are curious. Here are the days of the week for conference games at Hilton.

Saturday - 4 (Kansas, TCU, Texas Tech, West Virginia)
Monday - 2 (Texas, Oklahoma)
Tuesday - 2 (Oklahoma State, Kansas State)
Wednesday - 1 (Baylor)

Saturday game times:

Kansas - 5:00pm or 8:00pm
TCU - 1:00pm
Texas Tech - 1:00pm
West Virginia - 3:00pm

Anyone else loving that we kick off Big12 play against OSU at Hilton? Picking up right where we left off last season. Love it.

When I saw that the first thing I thought of was at least we will play someone besides OSU on Senior Day... although that game has worked out well for us the last two years!

The way I read this, College Gameday will be a Big 12 game on January 17. It will either be WV @ Texas, or KU @ ISU. Seems to me to be an easy choice.
