A great example of why 1) I haven't really listened to Limbaugh since the 1990's (when his show was still pretty darned funny, IMO) and 2) why I run from literalists of any kind, a fast as I can. Despite my best efforts to strengthen my own hybrid faith. But that's just me. I respect all others unless/until they use their "faith" to harm others.
These guys aren't literalists. A literalist focuses on the meaning clearly intended by the author, thus easily dismissing schemers like this who are manufacturing meaning that isn't really there in the text.
