One of the brilliant parts of Breaking Bad was Walter's trajectory from lovable goof caught in a desperate situation to essentially a monster by the end, while somehow managing to retain some of that fondness for who Walter was at the start.
I love that it also was a part of who Walt was the entire time. Everyday looking at Gray Matters stock then swallowing his anger/bitterness to create the illusion he’s satisfied being the loving family man. Having some fractured past with his parents that scarred him to the point that he walked out on Gretchen simply cuz her family was rich elites & triggered some insecurity.

The death sentence made the cage for the real Walter, no longer applicable so the consequences be damned. Burn that aceholes car from the bank, tell hank & his overbearing masculinity to F-off, or bang his wife when & wherever he wants.

Is it tomorrow yet??

Curious what people's favorite scene is from the series so far?

For me it's the courtroom scene where Jimmy has to take Chuck down in order to save his reputation. Michael Mckean should have gotten an Emmy for that performance.

Just about any scene that includes Mike. He's one bad ass mofo.

Agreed. It would be awesome to have a young Mike series with his time in Philadelphia as a dirty cop but it probably wouldn't be the same since they would have to recast him (to be younger). The actor that plays Mike is phenomenal.

Jonathan Banks is phenomenal. To be honest the acting all around is just fantastic. All the lawyers really make you think they are lawyers. Kim is superb, Chuck was on another level, and Lalo was a great villain.

I also appreciated Howard's performance. Always felt bad for his character lol

Agreed all the acting is fantastic.

Howard was a good guy and always looked out for Jimmy (he was only bad to him in the beginning because Chuck didn't want to be the one to not give Jimmy a lawyer job) yet Jimmy treated him like dirt in the last two seasons haha

I'm not sure what will be my next show once this one is done. I will probably get flack for this but I actually enjoyed BCS more than BB.

Howard was mostly a d**k. Jimmy was worse to him toward the end, but I don't think Howard was generally a good guy. We have more sympathy for him because of how it ended.

One thing I really like about BCS/BB is that the characters are complicated. They all (mostly) have some good and some bad.

One of my favorite scenes is when they killed Nacho, well acted and them rolling Hector up to let him shoot his dead body was hilarious in an extremely sick way

So much good. An episode that sticks out most to me was Jimmy walking though the desert with Mike's help carrying bags of cash ($7 million?). It was incredible for so many reasons.

Oh I've been saying for years now I like BCS better. However it's like comparing A to A+ really.

As for Howard, it finally dawned on me (and Saul confirms) that the only reason Saul and Kim **** on Howard so much was because Howard had the respect of Chuck and Jimmy never got it.

Exactly. Give us another spinoff. I said earlier a Young Mike show would be awesome. Even if it was B level I'd still watch it.

Oh yeah so many spinoffs you could do from either show.

1. Backstory of Salamana family, Gus, and Don Eladio

2. Backstory of Kim and HHM beginnings

3. Future story of Kim

4. Future story of Jesse (BCS stated last episode his car was found near the border).

You need to watch El Camino. I’ll put where he ends up in the spoiler below, but I would just watch it.
The car near the border was a decoy. He used Ed to get to Alaska.
