I almost got the feeling that Kim was concerned there was something illegal going on with Mesa Verde expanding so fast. Probably more likely she was just feeling overwhelmed, as already mentioned though.

I think it is just a simple case of her being overwhelmed. She just recently went through that experience with the oil client which resulted in her exhaustion and wreck.

But....I do think it would be a great tie in if we eventually find out that the bank chairman is dirty, and one of his largest clients is laundering money for the growing chain of Los Pollos Hermanos.

Doubt Kim could be suspicious of wrong doing at this stage.

At some point I would imagine that something happens to the lady Mike knows from the support group, or he'll have to push her away so she doesn't get hurt from the his line of work he does.

And is it just me or is his granddaughter as old or older than she was in BB?

Yeah, they're going to have to jump ahead pretty soon here. Mike is actually visibly looking much older than he was on BB and one mistake I think they've made is not recasting the kid. I don't know if it's the same actor as BB or what, but she's definitely older than she should be.

The granddaughter should be about the same age she was in BB. They are almost on the same timeline. I'd almost bet we hear about the blue meth by the end of the season.

I thought I read an article recently that the current timeline of BCS was a few years ahead of where BB started, but I could be wrong. Either way the age of the granddaughter isn't something that really matters.

Is it? The first season was to start in 2002. Let's say a couple of years have gone by on the show (which I think is optimistic, given the timelines of a few things). BB started airing in 2008. We've still got at least four years prior to BB, right? Jimmy still has to serve out his year, become Saul, have a well-known and advertised practice with a stream of clientele before Walt and Jesse start encountering him in, what, 2010?

The last reference I saw was the check Kim gave to Howard was dated 2003. It doesn't seem like much time has changed since then, so it is probably still 2003 or early 2004.

There's going to have to be a big time jump at some point in the show. I thought they said they were going to enter the Breaking Bad timeline in season 4, so it may be coming soon.

Good eye - I hadn't even noticed the date! I agree - if there's any chance of overlapping timelines, there's going to have to be a jump. That is, unless they claim that Breaking Bad was actually set earlier than the actual calendar, as I don't remember there being any specific date references. (The old car seats used and some other visual things could maybe support this, I guess.)

Yep. But, to be fair, smartphones didn't become more common than (or surpass sales of) feature phones until about 2013. So that's sort of a grey area there. They were definitely around, and I don't remember seeing any on BB at the same time, so it lends to the time flexibility.

BB and BCS are two of my favorites ever. So many great actors and terrific story lines going on all at one. Who knew Albuquerque, NM could be so interesting?

Albuquerque itself isn't that interesting. Albuquerque might be the setting of both shows, but it really isn't that important to the canon. This show could take place in El Paso or Yuma, AZ, or really any American desert town, real or ficticious, set within driving range of the US-Mexico border and very little about the canon would change.
