I probably haven't eaten a pop-tart in 20 years. I like them but not enough to buy them. If my kids liked them I would probably eat one occasionally. I think the only flavor I've ever had is strawberry so I guess that's my favorite.

Pop Tarts trivia/fact - unfrosted have more calories than frosted. I believe the frosting helps keep the treat together, the unfrosted have to have more pastry to achieve the same.

Hi-C Ecto Cooler to wash down the pop tarts for me. That stuff from the can was money (the big can, not pop can size).

Man, the metal party cans were elite. I know I'm gonna get flamed for this but Ecto Cooler was overrated. It was a novelty because it wasn't around for long but give me the original Fruit punch and Cherry 10 times out of 10.

while I do love pop tarts (Toast ems especially), I did listen to a podcast a few years back where they were interviewing an ultra-distance runner/hiker who was asked about training foods who laughed and said "for something packed with calories into a tiny, portable snack you can't beat a pop tart".

got me thinking, "but I ... don't ... do ultra-marathons", so I've tried to cut back lol

Wild Berry, Cherry and Strawberry are interchangeable to me. Hardly ever eat pop tarts though.

Are you referring to the original ecto cooler or the re-release a few years ago? I thought they had a green flavor in the metal cans for a while. The re-release was absolutely disappointing. Maybe nostalgia made it better than it was, but it didn’t taste the same.

But otherwise, give me the Hi-C orange, either at McDonalds or anywhere else. Even in a cardboard juice box.

Don't know if they still make it but Apple Cinnamon with no frosting was my favorite. Not a fan of the frosting and have probably had one Pop-tart in the past 30 years.

I believe the original flavor in the metal cans was Citrus Cooler btu they did roll out Ecto Cooler in the metal cans back in the 90's.

If you haven't tried putting butter on top of a warm pop tart, I suggest you do so.
