Founders Dissenter IPL. My first IPL. Surprisingly good.


I was really hoping Exile would actually make a beer that I liked before they started bottling.

They have some IPA's out, but not in bottles.

Just had my first pumpkin beer. I wasn't expecting much it was excellent. Southern Tier Pumking. I really wish Southern Tier would come to Iowa. Everything I've had from them has been excellent.

Gonna say... "ewwww". I'm not much of a fan of pumpkin anything. Where are you getting it?

But thanks for the reminder - Coaches night should finish up about 9:00, confluence should be open til 10:00 and I got some two-fers burning a hole in my pocket.

Im not usually a fan either but this was good.

I went down down to KC to see Jack White and made a stop at Lukas.

Give them about a year. They were supposed to be here earlier but their launch got pushed back. Exile's Beatnik Sour is actually a really nice beer. The first Exile beer that I've really enjoyed.

For our venue its easier and cheaper to do cans. Don't ask how but it is. Will end up going to like Sam's club and getting 30 racks.

300 cans would have worked just for about 25 to 30 people at my reception.
