NFL: Bears cut Benson

Damn...even though it needed to happen - that's still gotta hurt. Someone needs to put together a list of the RBs the Bears have drafted in the last 10-15 years, their production and how long they remained in the NFL.

well they did only have one OT and williams is a good fit. they still did get an RB, though i dont think he will be as good, angelo can sometimes see a gem in an apparent turd. problem is, he all too often sees turds in gems.

Here's a list of RBs drafted by the Bears since 1998:
1998: Curtis Enis, Penn St (1st Round, 5th Overall)
1999: James Finn, Pennsylvania (7th Round)
2000: Frank Murphy, Kansas St (6th Round)
2001: Anthony Thomas, Michigan (2nd Round)
2002: Adrian Peterson, Georgia Southern (6th Round)
2003: Brock Forsey, Boise St (6th Round)
2004: No RB drafted
2005: Cedric Benson (1st Round, 4th Overall)
2006: J.D. Runnels, Oklahome (6th Round)
2007: Garrett Wolfe, Northern Illinois (3rd Round)
2008: Matt Forte, Tulane (2nd Round)

Could this make my Garrett Wolfe rookie cards better?

So how many running backs have the Bears been through now since Neal Anderson?
Neal Anderson....that is a blast from the past, and it bothers me greatly that I can't remember where he went to school.

The QBs they have drafted are even more humorous than the running back list.

I don't understand how a team can be very good at drafting defense but so inept at drafting offense.
