I think there are three possible outcomes:
1. She goes to a team that adapts to her. She's the centerpiece of their system and doesn't have to change much. She does what she did here but makes more money.
2. She goes to a higher level program and becomes a piece of their system. She's not the focus but is a critical piece. They play to her strengths, help her improve, but limit her minutes to minimize weaknesses. She's like an elite closer in baseball. They are critical to winning but not in every game.
3. She goes to a high-level program that rapidly develops her into the player she can be. She vastly improves her defense and stamina. She dominates WBB next year.
I doubt AC wants #2. #3 is possible but requires a new level of commitment. #1 is easiest for AC, but that team will be capped by her own limitations.
If I had to predict, I'd put my money on #1. She goes to a program that mostly adapts to her but one that has better pieces/coaching than ISU did. She helps them win games but its still not enough to get them to a championship level. She'll score lots of points and get lots of attention from national media next year, much to the consternation of us ISU fans.
My money had been on OU as the landing spot. As I think about it, she'd get dominated by the athletes in the SEC by going there. My gut says somewhere in the B1G like Nebraska, Maryland, or UCLA.
My opinion and $2.59 will get you a slice of Casey's breakfast pizza.
