All American honors and some scoring records and a fan favorite. I certainly wouldn't have been surprised to see it retired. Especially if they would have had some tourney success her senior yr. But it's not worth internet fighting about. I'm more interested in where she goes along with the rumors of the payday.I keep seeing people say Audi is giving up having her jersey retired or something.
She’s never made it past the first weekend of the tourney and it certainly wasn’t happening next year. That jersey was never getting retired.
Why wouldn't she take a payday? Would you change jobs for hundreds of thousands of dollars? Praise doesn't buy houses. It doesn't provide a lifetime of financial security. Think about it, if she makes $500K more than she would've at Iowa State, that's $8,000,000 at retirement age.So Audi has chosen a one year payday, maybe at OU, versus a lifetime of praise and connections with the Cyclone Nation and Iowa State. Hope it is worth it.
Doubt it but we will see.I mean that's exactly what's going to happen. Season tickets will drop like a rock next year.
Audi’s been one of best ambassadors of our women’s bb program - maybe THE best - ever.I keep seeing people say Audi is giving up having her jersey retired or something.

3rd best attendance nationally, last I heard.I think attendance at ISU women’s basketball is considered good by national standards, but it looks like it has fallen off in the last few years.
Take it for what it’s worth
Michigan I can see otherwise I think it will be OU or TCUIf I were to guess she goes to Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio St., Michigan (may not fit playing style though) or the SEC.
ISU was 7th in 2024-2025 at 9998 fans / game, approximately 650 fans per game behind #6 Tennessee. AI says 2025-2026 stats are still being accumulated. Iowa is #2 and Drake is #48. Iowans love girls / women’s basketball!3rd best attendance nationally, last I heard.
Many residents are into self brutality.ISU was 7th in 2024-2025 at 9998 fans / game, approximately 650 fans per game behind #6 Tennessee. AI says 2025-2026 stats are still being accumulated. Iowa is #2 and Drake is #48. Iowans love girls / women’s basketball!
No way. If she declared for WNBA draft then it would have been just a matter of time that her jersey be retired.Audi’s been one of best ambassadors of our women’s bb program - maybe THE best - ever.
Plus a 2nd team All-American and perhaps 1st team next year.
Of course it would be retired.
The WBB attendance exaggeration is ridiculous.7000 average is more accurate with ridiculously low ticket prices for 6000 of those seats. I attend the games. They are absolutely not drawing 11k per game.
It's still relative to the ranking. Every sports venue does the same thing. The WBB attendance exaggeration is ridiculous.7000 average is more accurate with ridiculously low ticket prices for 6000 of those seats. I attend the games.
The guy that tweeted that out had like 400 followers and if you look at his history of posting on X you would understand why no one took him seriously. The silence isn’t creepy. The guy that posted it was creepy. One of these many threads had a tweet saying that JP sent word that everyone’s NIL is being cut to concentrate on the revenue sports. Has anyone investigated to see if that is what blew up the team? The silence is creepy.
Creighton was a powerhouse this year…not sure that helped make your pointMore of a WBB fan in general, sorry. I cheer for lots of teams across the country. Will cheer hardest for ISU when Bill is finally gone. Primarily a fan of good coaches above all else. Huge Creighton WBB fan for example.
