I watched the NU and Wash. game and they were sounding a TORNADO siren when they scored. Granted I found it annoyingly loud on TV. WE ARE THE MF CYCLONES and don't do that........


Make it fake sounding but use it, like the blaring sound with the monotone "a cyclonic cloud has been spotted near the skunk river approaching the East/West endzone with a high chance of devastation"

WE NEED an ID for ISU football and it's the nuances that add to identity.

I'm sure if it didn't rotate and was localized, it wouldn't be a problem. Even if there was a severe weather alert for the day, they could, "just not play it". It's slippery slope people like that which will keep us a ****** b12(how long that lasts) team till we run out of funding.

I'm pretty sure the city still said no.
And for the record, yes, I do agree with you on that. I don't understand the problem, but apparently the city has one.

People don't know who ISU even is. I tell my girlfriend and other people about us, they don't care. At least if we have SOMETHING for them to recognize us with beside our RIP-OFF USC jerseys They would care about us and the big 12, but right now, they DON'T!


They maybe say, "hey, don't **** with those mid-western people, they aren't hurting anyone, don't break up their conference". It's that same "do nothing" attitude that has gotten us here in the first place.

Oh no, people might mistake it for a real siren........... really? would they? when they run outside in their ******** mayhem which they don't when it's the real deal.


People think we are the cardinals, or the clowns, or the MF ketchups or mustards, do something unique for once. That is the problem, step out of line and get some attention.

Imagine the news headline, "Ames residence freaked out over tornados because their team wins.

I didn't say it would make us a better team, I said it would help establish the identity and atmosphere for our team. =D
