No doubt college football has reached a point where it is unsustainable, but I fail to understand the point of his tweet. The money put forth from this project comes from TV deals and private donations.

Very true, there’s a decent percentage of people who don’t understand that when money is donated, it’s usually for a specific purpose. I think his tweet is more questioning the donors decision to spend money on the Clemson facility vs on helping people in need.

Looks like 55 mil has already been left behind.

But yet these programs will go under and never be able to recover ever again if they can't play for ONE season.

I know Clemson will probably be fine.... but schools like Iowa and ISU have really nice facilities too..... yet will supposedly go under and never be able to recover again if we can't play football this year.

That looks like a freaking casino. All it's missing is slot machines and cigarette smoke.

We're gonna go under and NEVER be able to recover? Yikes. I had no idea things were that bad. Oh well, I guess I'll save a lot of money on the tickets I won't be buying.

Never recover. That's a bold statement. Thanks for letting us know.

I don't know about never recovering, but things will change for sure. If there is no FB, we're probably talking about major paycuts for coaches and staff. Layoffs of lower level positions like analysts, trainers, QA, strength staff. And probably cancelling a couple sports like swimming and mens golf. I guarantee Pollard has a plan on what the budget will look like with no FB, but it won't be pretty.

Great environment and their PA guy is second to none. I was fortunate to watch Justin Herbert play in Eugene.

Will the rich schools install hologram projectors to put fans in the stands while us poor schools use paper cutouts?
