I have not seen Kempt named until now but that would be awesome. He wasn’t the QB coach. He was Quality Control. That’s a significant difference in terms of pay
QB coach at Iowa state pays a LOT more than Drake OC.

I was curious about that. Is QB coach at ISU that much more than OC at Drake? I'm just genuinely curious as I don't really know assistant coach numbers. I just know they make more than I do.
Yeah he would make more as the QB coach at Iowa State than Drake is paying him

I would wager drake probably plays less than other FCS programs since they are non scholarship. So maybe at Drake you’d probably make less as an OC than a P4 position coach.
It wasn’t too long ago that North Dakota state lost their head coach to become a position coach/AHC at USC.
Yeah. Makes plenty of sense. The connection, if Roehl is coming as OC, makes sense too since they worked together before.
FWIW Waters got paid 300K at Iowa State
Position coach at Iowa State makes 3 to 4x what an OC at Drake would make.
I would love for Roehl to came back but would this be a step back? Position coach for the Lions I would think pay more.
Mouser made ~$750,000 and an rbs coach in the NFL is closer to $400,000

College OC > NFL position coach. He would make more as ISU OC than DET TE coach
Yeah. Approx 3-4x more to be a QB coach at ISU vs. OC at Drake.
