I am an avid Cyclone fan and have been my whole life. When I graduatedfrom high school in the '70's I played for a D-2 school the University of South Dakota. Anyway, if you are football fans, you are aware the Coyotes knocked off Minnesota in a 41-38 slugfest.

The quarterback from USD is a young man named Dante Warren and he is one of four finalists in the Capital One Impact player section this week. He threw for 350 yards and ran for another 86 or so. He truely is one heck of a young man.

Here is my favor to ask. Could you take a second to go to www.espn.com/capitalonecup and place a vote for Dante Warren? I would appreciate it. Very rarely does a kid from a small school get teh chance to win a national award.

Thanks Cyclone fans

I was at the game, was very impressed with Warren and the Coyotes. Of course I was cheering for them too. Best USD game I have ever been to. I voted for him. C'mon folks, you don't want Deace's "real" team player to get the award, do you? Crank up the CF virtual voting machine and let's make the fat man cry.

I voted for him, but I would say you are working uphill in a cause that is about hopeless. That Denard Robinson performance nationally will be a very popular choice.

I understand. But what the heck, bigger upsets have happened before. Thanks for the vote

I also was at the game. My co-workers who are Gophers fans or graduates (or both) kept on moaning about the Gophers - but it didn't take anything away from the Coyotes QB. Hats off to the team: they kept their composure during the game. Good luck for the rest of the season.

And yes, I voted for him.

I just voted and it looks like a Denard Robinson runaway.

I really don't care about your new boyfriend so, no.

Michigan kid - 53%
S. Dakota - Warren - 27%
OU's Jones - 12%

It was great to see S. Dakota kick the crap out of Minnesota. Too bad they let them back in that game, I would love to see SD win by 14, but 3 is still a win.

I would vote for the South Dakota, but I come from a South Dakota State Jackrabbit family.
