Arrowhead driving

I believe it is single lane on 35 from Kearney to Holt just north of the city. Hopefully it won't be too bad coming in on a Saturday morning.

Not to totally thread hijack, but has anybody heard anything about parking at Arrowhead for tomorrow? I know last year they put ISU fans on one side and KSU fans on the other, but I can't find anything about that this year on either the Chiefs or the ISU website. Do we have a specific tailgate side this year or is it open season on parking?

ISU gets A,B,C,D,L Must enter gates 2,3,4. Lots open at 7am and stadium at 9:30am

You're supposed to tailgate directly in front or behind your car....but I don't see anything about price.

Parking for the 2010 game is just opposite... KSU parking side is west side; ISU parking side is east side.

Gameday Central page at cyclones.com has parking info (who'd have thunk it?)

Not sure this is opposite, I was thinking I tailgated in C last year.

Thanks for the info guys.

I believe it is single lane on 35 from Kearney to Holt just north of the city. Leave early! You can always wander around the lots. Driving thru there tonight around 6:30 sucked & looked like they were set to continue for awhile. Top speed at times was 5 mph, w/ occasional complete stops.

The stretch in Iowa wasn't bad, just had to slow to 55. The stretch in Missouri (mm 34 to mm 24) was brutal about 6:45 Friday night. Stop and go. Just when thought it was moving again, traffic stopped. Allow plenty of time.

Getting on 70 from 435 had some back up for the Royals game tonight. Probably similiar for the game tomorrow.

That stretch that reached to Kearney (North of KC) sucked at 7pm. There were three sections on the drive that were one lane due to construction but if traffic was minimal you wouldn't have a problem at all other than just slowing to 55 each time.

I drove 35 last weekend coming back from Iowa City and the part just north of KC is not that bad. But traffic was not bad at the time. So hopefully you will be ok. It is only a few miles.

I heard $20 for parking at Arrowhead. They always try to get as much as they can. With the small crowd, you should be able to park just about anywhere you want! Have fun! Go Cyclones!
