I still feel like OU has the most talent in the conference, and it's not that close IMO. They just don't seem well coached to me. They should be a LOT better than they are.

Best case scenario for Big 12 is OU and ISU winning out and meeting in the B12CG. It would be an entertaining storyline and OU would have a chance to avenge its only loss. Hope we see a rematch.

No. No apologies to the B12. We have been the whipping boy in this conference for too long. “Sorry we beet teams we are superior to”? Nah, F*** that S***. We’ve been on the receiving end of BS calls the last 20 years in FB and BB, the time is over for apologies.

Beat the team that always gets home cooking and a huge benefit of the doubt.

Depending on how it happens of course, it wouldn't surprise me at all if a two loss Ohio State got in over a one loss Big 12 team. (not sure they could pull that off with Oklahoma but they'll try)

After today's AP poll, i may agree with you that Ohio State gets to cheat their way into a playoff again :) Hopefully the CFP comittee sees it the right way. I have watched almost every Ohio State game and there is NO WAY you can tell me they have improved enough to warrant being ahead of Oklahoma after they lost to them already. The AP poll is becoming almost as much of a joke as the coaches poll.

They definitely have the best QB. Mayfield is a stud, but for whatever reason has been struggling a bit lately. When he is on his game, that team is as good as anyone.

Just watch tOSU go and lay an egg at Iowa next week. I'm not predicting that, but with how this cfb season is going so far for the top teams it wouldn't surprise me. tOSU would have been beat by a team, that beat a team, that beat a team, that beat them, lol. It would finish the circle of awesomeness that is the 2017 college football season.

But you know they won't The Committee has made similar excuses for Ohio State in the past. There is no reason to believe they will do otherwise now.

If the unthinkable happens and we win out, I give us a 50/50 chance of making the playoffs. 9 straight wins including 4 top ten wins would be hard to ignore, and we could leap over a 1 loss big 10 or pac 12 team.

Screw that. I want to see ISU win out and it wouldn't take too many upsets around the country to get us where we want to be.... I'll take some more of that cool-aide, thank you.

I want to disagree with everything, partly to be difficult.

Winning out isn't unthinkable. We're the best team on the rest of our schedule.
They'll find a way to overlook us for Ohio State or someone who brings in bigger ratings.

From a competitive standpoint, I believe you're right and we would belong in the playoffs at 10-2 or 11-2. From a business standpoint, they'll be done with the feel-good story by then and get back to blueblood business.
