So the Big 10 teams are just going to keep moving up without playing, artificially raise the profile of their conference games, and then make the biggest jumps/not get penalized due to these "top 15" matchups. What a joke. You cannot move teams up for not playing a single game.

I think the continued inclusion of teams who have not played confirms the bias that many assumed which certain media members have based on conference affiliation. It has always been visible to a certain degree but this is point blank.

I’m also assuming it’s the same media members voting for them week after week and that they all fall within particular geographic regions. Which is fine as we can filter individual bias..

But the problem is that this influences the overall polls regardless of how much input and consideration other members may have put into their votes. This repetitive behavior at point blank seriously delegitimizes the whole system and frankly discredits the achievements and efforts of deserving programs from other conferences.

Keeping teams not playing in the polls is stupid. They should be making up ground when teams currently playing have ended their season and those teams are still playing.

No reason to think we won’t be in the high teens based on other teams losing.
