Anyone use battery powered socks?

Go buy a pair of Smartwool socks. I got a pair from Gander Outdoor in Cedar Rapids last week. Then buy some toe or foot warmers. That combination works great.

I loved my Smartwool socks so much I wanted to buy another pair so I checked out D-I-C-K'S Sporting Goods in Cedar Rapids. They have some, but I only saw long ones marked as for skiing. I didn't see any regular socks. So I bought a 6-pack of Under Armour socks and I can tell you they are not close to the same thing. They are nice socks, but not near the warmth of the Smartwool. I should have known better because I got 6 pair of UA for about the same price as one pair of Smartwool.

I tried the smart wool because, like you, everyone raves about them. they make my feet sweat instantly for some reason. my feet don't feel warm they just sweat, then they they get extremely cold. so far as I know, I'm the only person on the planet that doesn't like them.

Anything electric that I can wear makes me visualize something like this. I'd rather just layer up.

Try putting foot powder on before the socks and see if that helps you.

Since I don't know how old your daughter is I'll just go with it'd be a lot easier to reply appropriately to a comment like this if you'd said "wife".

She inherited my wife's ice cold feet. Not really sure how good they would work for a ball game, but I am going to borrow them for the KSU game. She just wanted them because her feet got cold at work, and would turn them off and on during the day because they would get too hot.
