I have no idea how you can justify retaining a coach following a two win season. The program hasn’t been this bad since before Johnny Orr.

Agreed. If Prohm comes back, there has to be compelling changes for fans to have any interest in basketball over the summer to buy season tickets or have any anticipation next Sept/Oct/Nov. The compelling changes would be:
- Hiring at least 2 new assistant coaches that have a extended history of impactful on-court results to create a team that defends, rebounds and has toughness.
- A spring recruiting class of about 5 new Big 12 caliber players on top of Hunter & Nunn. That group would need to be heavily transfers or JUCO kids. Grown men who have played in solid college cultures and who can lead!
Our culture is soooo broke that it will take nothing short of a miracle for ISU to be a 7 or 8 win team next year in Big 12 games if the above changes occur.
I think most people would support CSP if he can turn things around. But after 4 years of hearing the same coach speak with no results, Cyclone basketball under CSP's leadership is going to need to earn back a lot of fans loyalty.

No offense to Pollard but I’m not exactly thrilled with his ability picking basketball coaches. I’d be fine with it.
I understand that FB is the revenue engine. But there are a lot of Cyclone fans that grew up watching Cyclone basketball grow to prominence under JO, TF, LE and FH.
I enjoy a winning Cyclone football team, but I am passionate about Cyclone basketball. I don't see how having a doormat of a basketball program grows Cyclone Club membership revenue. I can just as easily give $1,000 to a local charity or the ISU business college than support a floundering basketball program.
