Another 8th grader to ISU?

Well this kid is the real deal. ISU is not the only ones after this kid. THe big boys are also.

Yeah IDK. I've heard about this guy; didn't realize that ISU is targeting him.

Not to brag, but when I look at the talent MN puts out in Basketball compared to Iowa, it's ridic.

At the same time you've got to be careful. When I was 14, I was 6'2 and wore size 14 shoes.... I am now 25 and am 6'3 and wear size 14 shoes. I had doctors tell me I was going to be 6'7 or so...

The good news is that he's 6'4 and at that height, if you have the skills and hit the weights, you have a chance to be a high impact player.

When you hit 70, you will be 6-0 with size 16s.

It honestly doesn't bother me. But we need to be honest (especially in light of the Dykstra situation) that if they aren't developing we'll cut them loose. Nothing wrong with that as I'm all for doing whatever it takes to get talent within the rules.

8th grade is pretty young. That's a lot of time to fizzle out.

Or a lot of time to get bigger, stronger, redevelop lost coordination, and become a super star.....

This happens every day in Houston. We had scouts at EVERY basketball and football game at the middle school I work at and to be honest..... we sucked at basketball.
