Andrew Sorenson.

Someone must not be telling recruits. They keep joining the Brands fraternity. So like I said, I couldn't care less what you think of them. They are getting the job done. You seem to like CPR ******** and going crazy at refs. We like Brands too. Get over it.

Recruits join due to Iowa's success (yes, the Brands are partially responsible for that). The Brands brothers are hardly the top selling point for that program. I've heard plenty about how much the wrestlers "enjoy" the coaching staff over there.

Right, just like ISU cares so little about Iowa they never post about them over here.

It's called a message board. Ever heard of it?

Nobody ever said that here and it's a completely random attempt at deflecting, but the same thing can be said over at Hawk Nation.

Never said it can't be said about HN. Of course it can. What was I trying to "deflect"? I don't see anything I was trying to deflect in that post.

Here's another one for you

Don't **** with Iowa Wrestling - YouTube

Just wrestling tough, right? The crowd gave him a standing ovation for that. For picking a guy up after the whistle and out of bounds and driving him into the coach's chairs. Go ahead and rationalize why he shouldn't have been ejected for that.

It happens multiple times every meet. The vaunted "Iowa style" that fans love to talk about is cheap and dirty assaults after the whistle blows.

Completely uncalled for and unacceptable. But you only look at one side of it, which I suppose fits your argument pretty well. Is slapping your opponent in the head 2-3 times wrestling? He nearly took a swing at him as they were going off the mat. So he isn't at fault but only the Iowa wrestler? That kid was back to the middle just as fast as the Iowa wrestler. To blame that only on Iowa is pathetic.

Do I think Brands coaches his wrestlers this? No. Do I think he encourages it? No. Do I think he minds if it happens once in a while? Nope, I don't think he cares. Having a program with a some fire and passion that may go overboard a bit sometimes (while at the same time making some enemies I know) is better than no fire at all, something Ferentz could use. You hate them because it's Iowa and you can sit on your high horse and say they are classless and embarrassing. That's fine. But they get the job done at Iowa and they get a lot out of their wrestlers.

You bring up stuff like this and don't even mention the classless acts of the MSU wrestler and everyone here thumps the drum, but Iowa wasn't the only one at fault. If someone slapped me upside the head in a match like that and then seemingly took a swing at me, you can be sure as hell I'd do the same. If you wouldn't, that's fine, you can continue thinking Jackson is fine and ISU will be back with his classy attitude. I'll take the fire and the occasional overstep of some of your "classy" boundaries. Oh, and the winning.

You mean somebody was being too physical for an Iowa wrestler? Couldn't take their own medicine so Grambell's response was to hit him after the whistle and out of bounds so he was relaxed and the double would hit so he could drive him into the chairs?

Again, the Iowa crowd gave Grambell a standing ovation for that.

Occasional? The reason it takes people about 2 seconds to find youtube videos is because it happens every single meet. And look at the comments on the videos... a bunch of Iowa fans voicing support for the actions.

He slapped him 2-3 times? That is "physical" wrestling? I can see pushing someones head when your hand is already on their head, but he definitely slapped him. Take your Cyclone glasses off. I would give a standing ovation too. If someone was wrestling you and they started slapping you in the head, you wouldn't do anything? Would you just go tell your daddy that the big kid is being mean? Good lord. He was getting hit, the MSU wrestler was obviously a part in it. The MSU kid even sprinting to the middle of the mat so they could go at it again. Get real.

You sound REALLY bitter now. It's youtube comments. You ever read youtube comments? You have some really awful arguments. The guy before said **** Iowa. Oh my gosh! Someone get some soap so we can wash his mouth out.
