You didn't click the link did you.

Lets just focus on the time when these recruits were growing up and actually playing basketball, and not during the time when the kids were watching The Wiggles, Dora and other such things..

    The last 10 years
    Notre Dame 7 NCAA
    VCU 8 NCAA appearances 1 final 4
Wichita State 7 NCAA appearances 1 Final 4
    KSU 7 NCAA Appearance

Seton Hall 4 NCAA Appearance, all in the last 4 years

So if teams are consistently making the tourney year in and year out they are mid level teams?

STEP 5: Take a day and also re-evaluate your scoring system of what a good college basketball program is.

Mid-Level =NIT, show up for the tourney every 3 years or so
Good to Very Good- consistently in the tourney and will advance some years

Is the guy a 5 star, no, but the schools on the list are not trash

DePaul, UIC, New Mexico, NIU, Ball St, Bradley, IPFW, Miami of Ohio, and Western Illinois (X2), would all disagree.

You have to upgrade your membership to one of two tiers. In other words pay a monthly charge which also cuts back on ads.

July 30th, 2017 we offered him. He was rated #282 July 31st, 2017 (his first ranking indicated on the history of his 247 ranking). A month an a half later he got his first true evaluation on 247, and was consistently around where he ended from then on.

It is almost the same type of circumstances here. I would expect something similar for Dubar.

Don't forget Tre Jackson that has one of the quickest releases since Naz was here. Tre is a perfect name for a guy like that.

His nickname is Tre, he wears #3, and he shoots a lot of 3-pointers. That's quite the trifecta!

Sorry to go off-topic...I couldn't resist the dad joke.

I don't know the coaching history since 2000 for all of these schools, but given last year results and preseason rankings for this year:
    Maryland #6
    Seaton Hall: #12
    Auburn: #16

I would say that is pretty good company.

I liked the games of both LA & Leech and hate to see them go before the start of the season, but I'd say this is a safe replacement for Leech. Probably doesn't have as high of a ceiling, but is less of a risk considering his injury. If we land XF on Monday, i would say we got an immediate uptake from this transaction 2 for 2.

Because when Auburn, K state, Seton Hall, Marquette, Wichita State were involved, that's why. Also, WVU probably was going to offer soon as well.

He definitely did some picking and choosing here to make his point...and a push for Iowa too as being mid-tier...strange. I'd put all of the above programs in the top 15 to 30 teams...no elites like Duke, Michigan State, Kansas, Kentucky, etc., but still perennial teams making the dance. This is a solid recruit that has nice potential to grow in Prohm's system and be a significant contributor...I'll take that.

I am pro Coach Prohm. (Seems I need to say that for some reason.)I trust Coach more than 247 comp ratings.

However, it seems there are two approaches to recruits signing: A) Get over-excited for everyone that signs as a cyclone. B) Be happy we have a new cyclone, but save excitement for guys at least rated in the top half of our recent recruits.

I welcome Dubar and hope to see him turn out to be another Naz Mitrou-Long. However, I'll reserve my "And boom goes the dynamite!" for when Foster signs.

Thanks, this is what I'm curious about. I don't follow the details of our recruiting every step of the way. If he jumps 100 spots in the rankings as did Tyrese, I would feel much better about the signing.

Feels like a good sign for those predicting Foster and one other coming in for the reason why 2 players defected
