don't mean to sound clueless, but if you know the list of things to take a picture of why not just go right to the bar? id' be into something like this but i'm not sure how it works (plus i hate ground texts!)

It's a scavenger hunt. The point is to take a picture of everything on the list in order, not just the last thing.
I texted the list out 30 minutes before everyone was supposed to start. That way people could get a game plan.

The only "rules" were that one person from each team had to be in the picture (to avoid an internet search copy/paste) and the last picture had to be at the meeting place (so we all ended up there). Last team to arrive buys a round.

I generally hate group texts, but some of the pictures were funny as hell.

Scavanger hunts are fun. We have a group that has done at least one every year. We all end up at someone's house at the end for a grill out and have given away bottles of booze to the winners. These are pretty competitive!!

My wife and I have done one of those golf simulators before. Not sure it'd work for 5 - 7 couples, but maybe if you got 3 or 4 screens going.
