With the release of this week's AP Poll, ISU Men's Basketball jumps LSU to move to spot #48.

It's been a massive climb this season, considering the program started the year just above DePaul in spot #50. At this rate, the boys should finish either just ahead or just behind Stanford at #47. With a strong season next year they could catch the big block of B12 teams in spots #41-44.

They're probably gonna get about 450 total points this year. Maybe. Gonna be pretty tough getting to #41 by end of next year.

I asked Gemini to sort that data since the Hoiberg hire and it spit out that we are 20th in the country. Who knows if it's legit, but it passes a quick eyeball test. Pretty legit if true, especially consider there are several prohm years dragging this down

  • Gonzaga
  • Duke

Missing UConn is the only real obvious one on there. Also feel like Illinois should be in there too but could be wrong

How is site above by op scored? I don't think it says so on the site.

Add up the points from every single AP poll to keep a running tally for everyone. His FPV are number of weeks ranked #1 in the poll

Edit: That link goes to the “What is this?” section on his site

Good chance isu passes Minnesota auburn and Baylor next year with an outside chance at Utah. Pretty cool seeing the progress the last couple years

Wild to me that we just passed Stanford who hasn't been ranked in nearly 20 years. Thinking of how much we've been ranked in that span, the amount of catch-up ISU has had to do is wild

I'd really like to see what it looks like since Johnny.
