Yeah, this is a pretty good break down. I don't drink by myself, and I avoid THC in a social setting.It really depends on the vibe of the evening for me. If I’m hanging out with friends at a party or having a celebratory dinner, I’d probably lean towards alcohol—it’s just easier to enjoy in social settings. But if it’s a chill night at home, maybe watching a movie or reading, I’ll go for weed.

This is exactly me. Although I am starting to use more THC in certain social settings with access to the drink or I’ve got drops I can put in NA drinks. My drinking has completely shifted. Have completely left beer and now only drink tequilas and bourbon. Beer is just to hard on the whole system anymore.
There have been some heavy pours at bars for sure!!! It can be tough to control intake vs just counting beers. I’ve found ordering a tequila single and club soda tall is the best way I can keep it similar to beer. Switching from beer has been interesting as I still want to drink everything at the pace I drank beer, which can get you in trouble with liquor obviously!!!This is slowly happening to me. I've always liked the consistent dosing of ordering a beer, especially when out in public. You know exactly how much alcohol you're getting when you order one. There's no risk of getting more than you bargained for.
