SJU has gone 8-24 and 14-19 in Matt A's two years there. Probably a good time to see the writing on the wall and head for a fresh start instead of stay with the sinking ship.
Well the Chris Mullin is not having the same impact as Fred did in Ames. I would guess St. johns will be making a change soon, Matt sees the writing on the wall and is getting out.
Darien Williams had signed a LOI with ISU but asked to be let out when Matt/Fred left and he followed Matt to St Johns. He didn't do much there. 3.8 ppg and 2.6 rpg.
I'm sure it was, but he probably knows it's curtains for Mullin next year.
Hopefully people aren't still butthurt that he took a different job (with his alma mater) when he knew Fred was headed to the NBA.
The anger should have been directed at Hoiberg. Particularly if you're a Cyclone and Bulls fan
I do not exactly blame him for going back to his alma mater to "get out of dodge" when he probably knew long before us that Fred was going to the Bulls.

He 100% knew Fred was gone when he left which is why he left. He would have followed Fred to Chicago but he knew he didn't have much value on an NBA bench because he's a recruiter through and through
