Who will be the first person to bring up how this team lost to drake and went to the elite eight?

In no way am I giving up on this team, but not having a pg is going to hurt us this year IMO.
 
ISU also lost to Drake in 2001, 2006, 2007, 2008 how did those seasons turn out?
 
I f*cking hate it when people bring up that the 99-00 team lost to Drake.

This team isn't going to the NIT with the way they've been playing, and will be more disappointing than GMac's last team.

It wasn't the lack of a PG that hurt us tonight either. It was zero offensive game plan, terrible defense, and shooting 50% from the charity stripe.

This was just a pathetic effort in every phase of the game. Where was Ejim in the 2nd half? Does Chris Allen understand the concept of "shot selection"? Much like Iowa football, it seems that high expectations just cause ISU basketball to **** the bed.
 
It was already brought up over 20 times in the game thread. I don't see a 1st round PG or a lottery pick big man out there, but that's just me.

It's going to be a long season, IMO.

I don't know about lottery pick this year, but RW looks much better his first two games than Fizer did in his first two college basketball games. Really it's not even much of a comparison.

These team is going to win some games that surprise people and lose to some teams they shouldn't.
